STL Joint Relief was founded to help people of all ages move more comfortably and live with less pain. Derek Lambert, NP – Joint Pain Specialist
Derek Lambert is a board-certified nurse practitioner and founder of STL Joint Relief, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal and joint-related conditions. With years of clinical experience, Derek focuses on helping patients reduce pain, restore mobility, and return to the activities they enjoy—without unnecessary surgery whenever possible.
Derek’s approach to joint care is straightforward: identify the source of pain, treat it precisely, and get results. He utilizes advanced diagnostic techniques, including in-office ultrasound, to evaluate joint structures and guide targeted treatments. This allows for a higher level of accuracy and effectiveness when performing joint injections.
He has extensive experience treating conditions such as knee pain, shoulder injuries, arthritis, tendonitis, and other common orthopedic issues. Derek routinely performs ultrasound-guided joint injections, including corticosteroid and other therapeutic options, designed to reduce inflammation and improve function.
Derek believes that joint pain should not limit quality of life. His treatment philosophy is individualized—understanding that each patient’s condition, lifestyle, and goals are different. Whether a patient is dealing with chronic arthritis or an acute injury, his focus is on delivering efficient, effective care with measurable improvement.
Patients appreciate Derek’s ability to clearly explain their condition, outline treatment options, and provide solutions that make sense. His goal is to help patients move better, feel better, and stay active long-term.
Outside of the clinic, Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, traveling, and being outdoors. He believes in living an active life and helping his patients do the same.
Shelby Rudolph, RN
Clinical Director
Shelby Rudolph is our Clinical Director and a Registered Nurse who has been an integral part of our team since 2019. With extensive knowledge of both patient care and clinic operations, Shelby truly understands the ins and outs of the practice and helps ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She is known for her friendly, approachable demeanor and her ability to make patients feel comfortable and cared for. Outside of work, Shelby enjoys hiking and staying active, which reflects her passion for overall wellness.
Danielle Frentz
Office Manager
Danielle Frentz has served as our Office Manager since 2019 and plays a key role in keeping our front office organized and efficient. She oversees all administrative operations, including patient scheduling, front-office coordination, and daily workflow management. Danielle is detail-oriented, reliable, and dedicated to creating a seamless experience for both patients and staff. Originally from California, she brings a positive energy and strong organizational skills to our team.
Rachael Blomberg, RN
Joint Relief Team
Rachael Blomberg is a Registered Nurse at STL Joint Relief who plays an integral role in delivering high-quality care for patients with joint pain and musculoskeletal conditions. She assists with in-office procedures, including ultrasound-guided injections, and helps ensure each patient receives a seamless and comfortable experience.
Known for her calm, reassuring presence, Rachael excels at helping patients feel relaxed and confident in their care. She is dedicated to supporting patients through every step of their treatment and contributing to the overall goal of helping them move better and live pain-free.
